THREE TUNS BREWERY TOUR
7.30 pm. Why not join us for a fascinating tour of the Three Tuns Brewery. Licensed in 1642, it is reputed to be the UK’s oldest brewery. The beer is still brewed in a Victorian tower and moved by gravity alone before concluding its journey in an original 16th century brew house, which is now used as a fermentation room. The brewery is steeped in history, ancient vessels, curios, architectural features and techniques have been retained alongside modern state-of-the-art plant.
The tour lasts approximately an hour and a half and is followed by the opportunity to taste generous samples of the end products.
Numbers are strictly limited to 12 people per tour, so you are advised to book early.
Please note that there are three flights of steep stairs, so the tours are not suitable for everyone.

SPRING FORAGE & WILD EDIBLES WALK - ROB ROWE
7.00 pm. Meet at the Bishop's Castle Church and Rob Rowe will take you on an easy 2 to 3 mile walk through local fields foraging for edible plants etc. There's a sense of wonder in learning how to find and identify plants, whether edible, inedible or poisonous. Rob runs a number of foraging and plant hunting days, searching for edible and medicinal species. This combines his botanical skills with love of names and their story and is a good way of engaging people and drawing them in to the natural world on our doorstep.

PRESENTATION ANDY FUSEK- PETERS
8.00 pm. Bishop's Castle Town Hall. After a superb presentation last year we are very pleased to have local author, poet and photographer Andy Fusek-Peters giving another illustrated talk on the local wildlife and landscape in this beautiful area of the Shropshire Hills. He has been shortlisted twice for British Wildlife Photographer of the Year and his photographs regularly appear in the national papers and photography magazines. His 'Supermoon' was on the front of the Times and his 'Hare in Bluebells' was on BBC Springwatch. "Among the current crop of British nature writers, he deserves a prominent place". Times Literary Supplement. Not to be missed. Bar will be open from 7.30pm.

7.00pm. Enjoy an evening meal and live entertainment at the Church Barn, Church Lane. An almost end of Festival evening with raffle and quiz. Enjoy a Vegetable Hot Pot with Crusty Bread and optional grated Cheese; Lemon Tart or Cheesecake. After the meal enjoy the entertainment by Bishop's Castle's very own Irish / Folk duo Bouzatina.
