BISHOP'S CASTLE WALKING FESTIVAL

Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th May 2026

Sorry, no dogs because of sheep and cattle in the fields

BISHOP'S CASTLE WALKING FESTIVAL
In the Shropshire Hills

Welcome

We look forward to welcoming and walking with you in May.

Our volunteer walks leaders have planned routes to help you explore more of this beautiful corner of the Shropshire Hills. We're close to the Welsh border, so a rich borderland heritage is ingrained in our landscape, with Welsh place names and defensive features, such as Offa’s Dyke and Clun castle, a reminder of once turbulent times.  These days, the rolling upland hills and meandering river valleys give the area a quiet and remote feel.

Use this website to plan and book onto our Festival Walks, and our evening Fringe Events.   Take a look at our Gallery page to get a feel of our festival walks.  Any questions, please contact our Festival committee using the contact form below.
